Project 3: Composition

These were my top five photos that i took, some of them where captured in the same or close by location like around school grounds(my good friend kian) and the others where different locations like liberty station and in my own sisters garage. i think these pictures have some kind of similarity because i wanted my audience to see these objects from a different up close angle, i wanted them to get a different perpective of the simple things that are close by them when they walk by. and i think that is what all my picture portray when you look at each one. each photo has some depth to it, it kinda helps me appreciate the different textures and colors we have to look at, and the backgrounds of these pictures make them look even better. it helps bring out color, or soothes the whole picture together. these where my top favorite five pictures.

The series of photography that i used was hands, i can't really explain why i did chose to do my project on hands but all i can i say is that i was inspired to do it in some way. there were some obstacles that i faced because i need to have "models" to be willing to do as i wanted their hands to do, so i could get my picture and the idea that i had in mind.    the elements that i wanted to portray was the shape of the hands and the texture of the skin, for example my favorite picture is the third one because it shows the texture of the hands you can tell the age difference of the hands. i also wanted shadows to show because it give the photography a bit more something to look at, instead of looking at the hands. I tried to concentrate on my background, but in some of the pictures it was at the spur of the moment and i thought that was better than having a planned background like i did for one and three.
